Respite Care offers a long needed rest to those who are caring for loved ones at home. Our Assisted Living and nursing communities have respite accommodations available to seniors from the outside community who can be cared for in supportive surroundings while family takes a vacation, investigates long-term care or just takes a needed "rest" from caregiving. For some, respite can be used as a temporary stay after a hospitalization for medically stable patients. It can also be a way of regaining skills needed for independent living or to test if a person is ready to return to his or her home.
